Aquarium Systems Phosphate Test Kit

Phosphate is an end product from the degradation of organic substances, such as uneaten food and fish waste, and can cause algae growth. Although the phosphate value should be as low as possible, values up to 0.5 mg/l are tolerated.

Attention! Phosphate tends to form insoluble salts which may settle on the bottom of the tank with the silt. It is recommended that this sludge that forms at the bottom is removed regularly.
