Aquarium Systems Calcium Test Kit

Calcium is one of the most important elements in a marine aquarium because many corals, other invertebrates and the useful red calcareous algae consume calcium to build their skeleton. The ideal calcium level is about 400 - 450 mg/L.

Remember to check the calcium level regularly in order to prevent irregular growth.  A high calcium value also promotes the stability of the water.
