Aquarium Systems KH Test Kit

Bicarbonates (KH) buffer the water against pH changes. However, as a result of biological processes in the water, the KH value and the pH value can change over time. Since all life in aquariums and ponds is very sensitive to changes in the pH value, a regular control method (i.e. water changes) is required to stabilise the KH value.
